FG2's are also knows as Nurburghring shocks. To get a better ring time, GM introduced these shock, which are stiffer than the standard FE4's that come standard.

You can check by looking at the struts on the car. The sticker on the struts will be rimmed in fucia/purple/pink color. If the rim is solid fucia, you have FE4's, if it's checkerboarded black and fucia, you have FG2's. You should check, as a dealer or two has been known to charge for them, and then not install, and then resell

All CTS-V's have headlight washers, that come on when you use your window washers. They pop out from the triangular section on the inside of the light. Most people never see them, because they are in the car, when the are used

So, not knowing I had HEADLAMP WASHERS either, tried mine at lunch but got nothing. Hmmmmm. I'll give Atdeneve's suggestion about them being on a try tonight

Whoa - COOL!!! For gosh sakes, those are just trick as crap! I hate to be enamored of such little gizmos, but I just can't believe the designers put that much time and effort into those things. That is just way freakin' cool!!!

I about had to pick my jaw up off the ground when I saw it. And heck, I didn't have someone to help I had to press the button and get out there quick to see what was going on. Am I right in that it looks like it blasts some spray first and then blasts some air a couple of seconds later? It's like a frickin' transformer

Again, sorry if it's old hat to everyone else - but it just made me grin a mile wide. Big kudos to whoever got the bean counters at corporate to let them do it!!

oh boy, you guys are killing me with the excitement over the headlight washers!

I just washed and waxed, trying to keep clean for a few days, and will only use washing fluid in emergencies! Don't want to mess with this:

CTSV_510 is right - the one thing that gave me pause when I was checking out the light washers was "she's clean, that overspray's gonna make a mess!"

Looks great! What did you do to get that shine? I did Mothers clay bar, Meguiars scratch/swirl remover polish, and then Meguiars NXT2.0. Dont know if it shines like yours!
