Flyboy's Car Is Sold

I'm gonna start drinkin' a little early today......just joking.

A guy and his girlfriend flew into Phoenix yesterday from Houston to buy the car. They will be driving back to Houston later today.

I won't spoil his personal introduction here, because he'll be a member soon. SUPER great guy, beautiful girlfriend (getting hitched' this summer). (They're both "gearheads"). She knows how to drive a stick and is gonna' drive the car also.

They loved it, of course. When "they" appear sometime next week, (I would assume) here on the forum, please give them your usual warm welcome.

I'm not going anywhere....just lurking here adding me $0.02 worth when I deem necessary.

You guys are the GREATEST ! ! !

Glad to here it all went well, and glad to here you are hanging around. What's replacing the V in the stable (or should I say hangar).

Congrats, Jimmy! Will be looking forward to the new owners.

I'll never forget meeting you for the first time and watching you pull up in your V at Baker's in Milford with Ryan hitchin' a ride. We backed next to each other, popped the hoods with yours looking cool sporting a Katech done motor and Katech banner on your windshield and sounding mean ... while my car was completely stock with its big ol' silver garbage can lid.

Seriously, I've already mentioned you to the "new guy" He's a great dude and will take very good care of my car.

I'm gonna' keep the price on the down low, but "almost" what I was asking. (It was a good deal for each of us).

I'm actually taking delivery of an '08 Accord Coupe. (Loaded with every option for 30 grand). I'm gonna' lease it for two years, then get an '09 "V" with low mileage on it.
