Ok i got my Car back from the dealer, paid 265kd ($1000)

180kd for installin the diff oil cooler
10kd for consumables
46kd for diff oil
29kd for fixin the front bumper paint...

Well after i paid for this i took it to the alignment shop. She was off in the front andin the rea big time....

50kd fixed everything

After i took it from the shop i pulled out and it was the best 6 sec of my life...I heard a clickin noise, and the higher the rpm the louder it got. I goosed it and the engine light came on followed by hesitation. I backed off and drpped the rpm way down.

I pulled over to the AUDI dealers shop and with the limited light i saw my maf cable CUT and my fan belt shreded as well as my Hood liner. I AM STILL PISSED.

I called the dealer, CLOSED for two days.

I idle drove her to the garage, since there weren't any tow trucks, and now she sits in front..Collectin dust.

So what do i have to show for it...I am in the hole 315KD and no car no fun...

How on earth could they have messed up a belt by installing a diff cooler? Weird...It seems like the belt may have just gone, and this is the time it picked to do it. The shredded hood liner and MAF wire are no doubt a result of the belt letting go.

Welcome to "Mod Hell".

Now you know why I carry TWO extra belts and a box end.

The "clicking noise" is the shredded belt beating the crap out of the liner.

What cut your belts?

Excessive rubbing from something? I barely have 1000mi now on my car and its killin me...

The belt got shredded by:

Me gassing the crap out of my V.

Being a cheapo by not replacing it the first time it jumped off.

Once the belt jumps onto a ridge or jumps off, I think it is compromised and should be replaced.

Well i found out something odd...

The dealer goofed on the belt arangement... Instead of

Tensioner, water pump, power steerin pump, alternator, idler pulley, crank pulley, and from the start again

They did

the fact that the belt barely touched the crank pulley tore it up...i even soldered my wires (half @ss) just out side the dealership. No one even came up to me to ask what i was doing not even to see if i needed any help...No worries, tomorrow i will take it to my friend and redo my solders...

I even covered everything with extra thick hoses so they dont get damaged if the belt goes again...

Pretty sad when they can't even put the belt on right.
