I just bought a 2004 black V that is low miles and in good shape cosmetically. I have a long highway drive to work and want to keep the dings off of the front of it when I do drive it to work.
Anybody do a clear bra and how much did you pay? |

Roughly about the same on the CTS-V and STS-V. 700.00 installed for full front facia, hood (12" on the CTS-V and 24" on the STS-V) w/ fenders and the mirrors.

Mine was free since the company representing the product wanted to demo a couple of them
Other people try VentureShield b/c it is cheaper and easier to install. |

I have almost 50,000 good looking, no chip miles. I personally know the owner of Venture Tape who makes the Venture Shield. I had mine done at the plant for $450. I actually paid the same for my '07 Town Car done at Tint King near my home for the same price.
I don't have fist hand knowledge of the comparison of VS and 3M as they wear. But, I can tell you you'll be very happy with the Venture Shield, no doubt.

Well worth the investment, as my front-end has enough chips to justify a paint job. |

Another $365 if I want to do the hood, fenders, and side mirrors. Sounds expensive compared to what some others have paid.
I will check into the Venture Shield. |

I will check into the Venture Shield. | I think I got a bit ripped off.
They did my hood, entire front fascia/bumper, headlights, rearview mirrors, all four wheel arches, and top of rear bumper: $850.
BTW, being a DIY-kind-of-guy, I checked into doing it myself and said, " ". Could have saved several hundred clams, but I'd have screwed it up for sure. |

One of the reasons VentureShield is cheaper because they own their own templetes. Now that 3M owns templetes I think you will see a price reduction, but thats just my guess. |

I'm not too impressed with the cut of my kit.
(Don't know what kit/template it is though)
I'd like to find a better kit or have something custom cut.
