1. i downshift much easier, before because of the rubbery movement of the original clutch and flywheel, i use to feel a back jerk forward then back...That me feelin the placement of the clutch and revvin up the engine to match. Now that awful jerk is gone...
2. The engine revs up much faster and there is no ruin to the traffic or drivability of the car...
3. if you use slave pn GM 24237634 you dont need a spacer, you just have to trim a little of the transmission to fit the new location for the hydraulic pressure line See attaced pic...
Now my only issue is when i rev the engine above 3000rpm i feel a slight shiver in gear and in neutral. And when i do a power shift at high rm i feel the clutch pedal shake a little...My mechanic said to drive it for a while and the shakin will go away...I will get back in this regard at a later time
I would like to thank you for your time in readin this and look forward to a follow up to my above mention vibration issue

It still vibrates a little if I hold the RPMs at 3k in neutral, but driving is perfect, so I'm not sure that the vibration in your will go away. Keep us posted.

| | Cadillac Owners Fanatic | | | | | Re: LS7 Clutch feedback Sorry, Just to clarify. The new slave cylnder will allow for direct bolt up of the LS7 assembly, without the need for that spacer that the other setups suggest using. I assume the notching is to allow further travel on the shift fork than before? What was your install cost? |

The notchin is for the hose to comfortably exit the housing...
Talk with Luke, he will hook you up with the parts...My installation cost was ridiculasly low due to TCN labor, (Third Country Nationals) |

By the way the vibration is gone, just needed to be pressed in place and run for a while... | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
