CTSV Brake Caliper - Custom Powder Coating with Core Exchange

I currently have 4 brand new Cadillac CTSV Brembo front and rear brake calipers that are still in the original OEM boxes.

These calipers were delivered to me with each caliper assembled with 4 booted caliper pistons; new u-tubes and bleeder valves.

They are absent of the top pad retaining hardware that would need to be transfered from your current CTSV calipers to the new powder coated ones that I would be supplying.

I am interested to find out how many people would be interested in a core exchange program where they could order from me a brand new set of front and rear CTSV Brembo calipers that would be powder coated in your choice of color and then receive a second stage of clear powder coat.

I would send to you the completed powder coated calipers per your order.

Once received; you would have two weeks to install them and then return your current core calipers to me postmarked within two weeks to receive the refund of your core charge.

All brake calipers would be completely soda blasted to remove the existing paint material, install a two stage powder coat application and be reassembled with new piston boots and internal seals.

I have yet to figure out what I would charge for the complete two stage powder coating of the CTSV calipers and the piston rebuild with new rings and piston boots and shipping to your front door.

When received and installed by you; you would simply repack your four old Brembo CTSV calipers in the existing shipping box and return it to me within two weeks of receipt of your new calipers in order to receive your core charge refund.

So once again; if there is any sincere interest in this service of receiving custom two stage powder coated calipers for your CTSV; I would really like to know so.

If there is some sincere and genuine ongoing interest; I would be able to process about 4 complete sets per month and would need to put together pricing for:

1. The custom two stage powder coating of the Brembo calipers, rebuilding and servicing of them with new seals and piston boots and shipping the completed four calipers to your destination.

2. A reasonable core charge or security deposit that would have to be paid up front, but 100% refundable upon the timely return of your four old usable CTSV Brembo calipers in the supplied shipping boxes.

Please ring in on this posting and let me know if this is a service that CTSV owners would be interested in.

The definite advantage to you is that there is no down time at all for your vehicle.

You simply place your order in any color that you choose. We strip the silver paint from the existing calipers in stock. Remove the pistons, boots and seals. Powder coat the calipers in a two stage process and reassemble them with new internal seals and piston boots and check them for operation before shipping them to you.

Once received; you simply install the new powder coated calipers and return your existing calipers in the supplied shipping boxes to have your core deposit credited back to your account.

This process is obviously very price-dependent. Local powder coating is available in most areas and is not terribly expensive. The added benefit of rebuilding the pistons with new seals and boots is not overly helpful for those like me with 5,000 mile cars, although I'm sure some would like that added feature.

However, having seen the quality of what you sell, I would be willing to pay a premium for your product.
