It's not a magic pill to find hidden power or to replace an experienced tuner. The big advantage is Roadrunner automates the otherwise tedious manual iteration process.

RTT & efi RR/handheld are more for marketing geewhiz factor. They do save time when datalogging, histogramming/BEN, and spending 20 seconds to rewrite.

Each has it adv/disadvantages. Hptuners covers gm engine and transmissions plus some ford and dodge in the case your buddies just out an intake & exhaust. Which @ $99 for most vehicles can pay for itself in short time. Even if they want a speed limiter removed it is well worth the investment comparred to $399 hand canned tunes.

    Good luck!

Unless one needs the multi-brand support; stay as far away from HPT as you can.

What HPT evils lie in waiting?

Are you sure you don't mean SCT?

GM Performance gives nods to HPTuners for production based reflash controllers.
