Minor vibration under light braking

I've noticed that when I brake lightly (like trying to slow down a couple miles an hour) my steering wheel shakes. If I brake moderately or hard everything is fine. This happened before and after I changed my pads & rotors. Anyone else notice this? Is this just an artifact of multi-piston calipers? It only seems to occur when I'm barely pressing the brake pedal.

Re: Minor vibration under light braking

PMSTEINM:

Likely a slightly warped rotor or maybe a tire/wheel out of balance.

Re: Minor vibration under light braking

Yep, warped rotor. My Acura did that a few times. They had to remove the rotors and resurface them.
