I just leave the info strip on temp all the time. I dont like seeing the numbers change on the other options and since my publik skool edumicashun taught me that water freezes at 35 and all those nice signs tell me that bridges freeze before roadways I find it quite annoying since my garage stays about 65 in the winter i dont get the ice message for a few miles down the road.

Just another reason to hit that top button that flakes off with to much contact anyay.

My manual says it can be turned off or where its just audible outside the car.
I think it said it can be turned up or down too.

Just be glad Jeremy didn't yet know about the tremendous wheel hop and shattering diff on the 04V or he would have had some real complaints to field vs finding something to simply make smoke about.

However he never made any negative comments about the car's power or handling during the review.

yeah i do the same... mine stays on temperature all the time. i agree it's too depressing watching the rest of the numbers (trip A, trip B, average fuel economy, fuel used, fuel left, etc.) changing =P

I watch the Average and Instantaneous fuel economy. Just a fact of life when you own a 400HP V8

occasionally when i'm cruising at 75-85 on the highway, i'll flip to instantaneous fuel economy, just for a second

Funny how a slight incline will put your mileage in the toliet.

When on "instantaneous" have you ever shift to neutral on a decline?

I love seeing 70 mpg on the readout and still doing 80. Makes me feel like Im doing my part for global warming.

I've had it hit 99 mpg going downhill in 3rd at about 4000 rpm.

70 is the highest I have ever seen with either the clutch in or in neutral on a downhill roll.
