Well I say he buys daveontop's car for $17k to build as a full race car.

And for a DD he can buy a 1988 ford taurus wagon with woodgrained side panels. Urb can give him driving lesson with the rest of the cash.

Rick, Consumers Reports says you'll have electrical problems, though. They also say they don't run upside down.

Won't buy a used V for one reason - rear differential assembly.

Does the new engine drag control "used to prevent engine braking from destabilizing the car on slippery surfaces" found on the '09 V work on a miss-shift?

If so, it would need to decouple the driveline through something like releasing the clutch. The technology would be easy to do on the slushbox compared to the stick verison.

Where's my AWD V? Cadillac, give me one of the pilot cars to drive for a year.

JFWY, you kept your V longer than most, was the first (?) with a Maggie, and helped out members in many ways.
Still pissed at you for selling, but odds are you'll be back!

I do miss how she could squirt around the corners, 2 or 4 wheel drift (driver's choice).

Waterlily now at 265ish HP just doesn't do that. She sticks and goes - wherever you point her. Pretty insane, to be honest.
