My C5 with base spring and Z06 shocks and sway bars is more complient than my V with Eibachs and GM sway bars. The compliency shows up when the conditions get slippery. The V can be a handful even with the extra 800 lbs.
I put a set of Dunlop M3 on the Vette and hit some deep enough snow drifts for it to go over the hood! And I don't carry any extra weight in the rear and it is lowered almost 2" under stock.
A friend picked up an 05 this time last year with 10K miles for $35K. Should be able to find one under $30K now.
With age comes wisdom and smarter choices when it somes economical sense. Pick up a C6 for half the price of new Z. The better half will appreciate it!

One requirement is the new machine must have a backseat so no Vette - Someday. |

However, needs to be an '09 ZR1 "sedan."

WW, you had to get rid of the V why? If my memory serves - the wife. And did I catch the name or "your" car "Waterlily?" Just a quick question without asking and it has to do with pants, who wears, and family.
Audi's are silly AWD luxury high hp rides. But still a glorified VW. Not much difference between a Jetta/Passat and A4/A6, although the RS rides are nasty. I had a few jettas, and the only thing holding me back between the last one I had and an A4 was the $$. V me. |
