07 V w/New Nav Unit SWC all messed up

Ok guys need a little help. My New 07 had to have the NAV replaced.

I didn't receive an owners manual with this car (Dealership misplaced it).

    So.

I was able to get some of the buttons straitened out in the SWC menu on the radio. But, how do I set the Volume UP and Volume DOWN buttons? THere is no option for that. But, it was set that way when I bought the car.

Also, When I press TC the TC light comes on like normal. But when I press it twice my NAV used to say COMPETITION MODE now it does not. IF I hold TC for 5 seconds the NAV does say Stability off/disabled. So, I think it is all working, just not possitive.

So, you guys have any advice for me?

    Thanks,
    WS

    You can download the manual.

    Go to Reed's site.

    I appreciate the link.

But, I still don't see how to set the volume buttons as volume up and down. There is no option for it. Any suggestions?

Is it possible that they programmed it like a base CTS?

I would take it back to the dealer.

I believe the option he is looking for his being "hidden" in the setup menu.

If you "futz" around with the setup screen menu you can display or list options that are not obvious.

If it was set for a CTS I don't think the traction control stuff will work.

My memory is fuzzy at the moment.

if you can see the SWC menu, then your nav was programmed for the CTS (not the V) which explains why your Competiton mode does not work as well...

    Back to the dealer..

    Well that sucks.

Just an hour and a half each way to the dealer.

If I could just get the volume button to work I'd be happy. I Changed the button that is normally seek up and down to do PRESET UP and to scroll through SOURCES. Much more useful than seek up and down to me.

Oh well. Back to the Dealer. Thanks Guys appreciate the help.
