I got in the car after it sat for 2 weeks and drove it the other day. The oil life was showing 2%. After driving it again the next day it went down to 0% life left and now I'm getting the change oil warning. Bad sensor or something easier?

Re: Oil Life shows 0% with 600 miles on the last change

Did you reset the oil life indicator when you got your last change?

Not sure? Just go to the "Info" menu, open oil life and you should see the reset icon. Push, hold, release. Should pop back to 100%.

That would be some sensor if it could tell when you actually dump the old oil.

I think he needs to be a supporting member to receive such important information on this sensitive subject.

you guys need to realize that when you tell someone they need to become a supporting member, it just makes them want less to be one. help people out, give them some advice, and when it pans out, they will consider it.

This was a complete joke on my part. I will never, ever again mention being a supporting member. Sarcasm doesn't translate well on the internet.

I thought it funny, being as how 90%+ of people seeing the title of the thread would know what the problem was.

Again, I apologize for nagging (though not truthfully meaning it) like a girl.
