Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to disable the sensor that prevents full navi and bluetooth functions from working when in motion on a 2006 STS-V??
The voice recognition sucks!

I am guessing the same unit is used in both vehicles, absent cosmetics. I do not see GM spending money for two completely different electronic heads that do the same thing. |

The STS navigation radio is completely different from the CTS navigation radio. They both are completely different then the DTS navigation radio. All three of those are different then the SRX navigation radio. All four of those are different then the Escalade navigation radio. And, you guessed it, all of them are different then the XLR navigation radio.

The 1791 DVD fix noted earlier in this post worked for my 2003 DTS too! My wife and I work together and it was great during our hour commute. My Toddler just got old enough to turn the child seat forward. I'm sure she'll get a kick out of this too. Now I just need to find out where I can find Jetson's and Flintstones DVDs so we can all enjoy. |

It's funny, too, how each system has features I like. The display and touch screen on the Escalade are great (almost the same as the 06 DTS), but I prefer the method the CTS uses for finding nearby POIs.
