| | Cadillac Owners Member Cadillac(s): Cadillac | | | | | Newb Intro Hello All,
Wanted to introduce myself.... I've been a long time GM guy and a vette fanatic. Had a 1994 LT-1 C4 M6, then a 1995 LT-1 auto and I just recently sold my 2000 C5 vert M6 w/ a 408 stroker.
My latest ride is a 2004 CTS-V w/ a 382 and D1SC procharger. I wanted something that was a little more subtle than my vette and more of a sleeper. I'm still on the 04 rear end and waiting for it to go.... Just turned 10k miles on the car last weekend.
Looking forward to adding to the forum. |

Yeah on the pics. Boy, you're gonna stir things up around here with that Procharger on your car. Be prepared for a bunch of attention. Still the 1st diff, eh? Sounds like nice car, low miles and all.
BTW, where are you located?

If you are somewhat close to the mid atlantic, consider bringing that beast out for the track day Linddsay Cadillac is putting together at Summit Point in may. http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...th-2008-a.html

I am located in Raleigh, NC.
I have spent many years and thousands of posts on the corvette forum and I'm glad I found a new site.
I don't have any pics on this computer, but you can see the car when it was getting the work done at EPP. I bought the car from Richie Sposato and you can see it at www.exoticperformanceplus.com. It is the silver 2004. I bought the car w/ 9,150 miles and like I mentioned, it just turned 10k miles this past weekend. I'm really enjoying the car so far and it is as fast or possibly faster than my 408 C5, but a lot more civilized and comfortable. The car doesn't stop pulling.... I've only had it up to 130 mph in the 4th gear.
The rear end seems to be holding up so far, but I definately don't beat the hell out of it from a dig. I have noticed that the rear end has a slight leak.... is that pretty normal? OR a sign of bad things to come?
Looking forward to getting to know some of y'all. I'll see if I can get some pics up this weekend. |

Hopefully you can see a pic of the front end of my V. This is the only thing that gives the car away...besides the exhaust note. |

Try Rippy Automotive in Wilmington. They're just down I-40 from you! I drive about 80 miles to get there from Fairmont.
I had my car there for the OnStar digital retrofit with nary an issue. They seem to have several techs, as well as the shop foreman and at least one of their service writers that are performance enthusiasts.
They spent more time under the hood eyeballing the LS7 than they did actually working on it. |

It put down 600 rwhp 630 rwtq on a mustang dyno when it was built at EPP....
I wasn't able to get that much out of it here locally (Close to 550 / 550 on a dynojet) I am not too concerned because I have to get the car inspected then I'll probably get rid of the cats all together......I think my cats may be clogged and/or a slight boost leak. It is more than enough for the small 245 rear tires to go up in smoke....
I can e-mail pics to someone if they can get them posted.

I bought the car from Richie....
