And when I do, should I replace it with nitrogen?

Yeh I change mine every Friday.
I don't bother with pure nitrogen as there is enough in the air we breath and compress to refill our tires with.

Re: How often should I change the air in my tires?

I just paid $399 to have my tires drained and refilled with fresh air.

They also suggested the synthetic blinker fluid while I was there, but I don't turn often so I figured I didn't need it.

Re: How often should I change the air in my tires?

Be careful when scuba diving with your tires that you don’t surface too quickly.
The off gassing of nitrogen will cause your tires to get the bends if you do so.

Go with the Nitrogen, it is the best additive to any car since gasoline, look for at least 1.5sec and 20mph gain in the 1,320'. I had mine done last week, bill was twice of TTS's, but he has connections.

Ya know I almost fell for that scam the last time I had my car in for service. I told them I wasn't that stupid. Just repack my muffler bearings and I'll be on my way.

Re: How often should I change the air in my tires?

K, time for a serious comment.....I had nitrogen in my tires...well, still do in my driver side tires, my passenger side tires had bad tps sensors, so they go refilled with atmospheric air.....ok well y'know how the nitrogen is supposed to inflate LESS when they heat up?....nope, all four tires match when cold, yet nitrogen side is consistently 1-2psi higher than reg air side......

Re: How often should I change the air in my tires?

you got bad nitrogen then. you need ionized nitrogen, you got the base level atomized. upgrage (like 50 bux per litre) for ionized.

Well then, forget about pure nitrogen.

I'm going to try saving the methane Chef's food produces and filling my tires with that.

J/K Chef. Every one of your culinary works of art I have had the pleasure of sampling has been 100% gas free.

(I only wish I could say the same for the effect the Fillets you fed my dogs had on them during our last stay at your resort.)
