Diff capacity?

I just changed the oil in my '06 rear and it didn't use the full 2 quarts. I'd say it took about 1.75 quarts. Is this normal? I searched everywhere but can't find the exact capacity.

That is normal.....If you check the CTS-V, FAQ it does say the same thing....You're OK

Thanks a lot. I am just really paranoid about this rear, and all i could find in the FAQ was to use 2 quarts.

I heard 1.8 and mine took less then 2 as well.

1.75 is where it's at. Not to worry.
