    Re: Tinting my CTS-V

I just had my CTS-V tinted today using the 20% 3M tint all the way around and it looks great. I do have one problem though. They said they couldn't get the tint to stick to the very top of the rear window where the dot matirx is so I've got about a 3 inch strip of un-tinted window. I've seen a few people comment on this problem but I'm wondering if anybody has had any luck with getting their entire back window tinted. Any feedback or advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Re: Tinting my CTS-V

I got 5% all the way around and the guy glued the heck out of the top part of the back I believe. Still looks ok, a little weird from the inside but you can't tell from the outside. I had to sign some waiver that if it fell off they weren't responsible but oh well. I heard about some vinyl stuff you can get on there instead, haven't seen/tried it.

Incidentally I get awful OnStar signal now with no outside antenna. So I'm interested to hear other solutions.

    Question Re: Tinting my CTS-V

Did you have a problem with the antenna for OnStar when you tinted the windows?

Will there be a change for 05' antenna so that I don't have a problem tinting?
