    Re: New keyless Entry remotes?

Been busy selling cars. I'll try it before I leave tonight.

One potential problem: There's two different styles of the new fob- one with remote start, and one without. All I have instock right now are cars with remote start, and that fob may not be compatible with our cars. We'll soon see.

I would really be interested. I have had a Camaro for the last 6 years and just getting into a V. Having a diff type of key fob instead of the same old crap would be awesome.

Auto-start would be sweet. Can it be done w/ a manual?

^^ YA, you'll never find it in a factory remote.....but it's doable, someone on here has one actually...theres a process you have to go through every time you shut your car off though so the computer knows it's in neutral.

i've done installs on manual cars before, back when i was doing car audio and alarms. it's very possible. you wire it to the parking brake too.

Sorry it took so long, everybody.

No dice using an SRX Fob with Remote Start- I figured as much. I'm still holding out hope that a non-remote start fob will work, so as soon as I get one of those I'll try it out.

I doubt it will work. I dont know about GM cars, but with jap cars, they are constantly changing the FCC id#. So there are some cars, that one model year will have more than one remote.
