How hard is it to do yourself? How easy is it to break the sh!t plastic trim when disassembling the interior? I want to do the entire floor. Can I do that myself or should I have it professionally done? And if so...... can anyone suggest a place in Pennsylvania that you would trust to do such a task. When my car is quiet I will be completely in love with it now that my shifter is smooth as urbanskis bottom. |

I've already broken the under steering wheel dash thing by trying to remove it so I'm going to try to find a pro... I'm sure there is someone in PA that I can find. |

I was considering asking them to either call me to take a look at their work before they reinstalled the trim or to take extensive pictures of their work. I'll probably end up doing that. |

Any good shop WILL have extensive experience with sound deadening since any good system needs sound deadening.

Step 1: cut to fit
Step 2: Remove backing
Step 3: Put it on the surface you want to deaden
Step 4: If its now sticking to your hands you have it backwards and should honestly consider selling the V and getting a bus pass.
Step 5: Use a small roller and work it on from the center out.
The only time this stuff gets tricky is if you are going upside down like on the backside of the roof skin, be sure to use only high quality stuff like Dynamat there or it will pull off as soon as the summer heat hits. |

remove the Airbag plastic tab with a small flathead screwdriver (careful not to break the tabs) and use a screwdriver to remove the screw behind it (the rear one requires a nut driver, but I think the front is a screwdriver)

Next Thread Please. | How about I just deafen myself with dynamite, problem solved! Good thinking GMBOUND. If you want to make your cars faster, don't waste money on buying engine modifications, buy a bunch of rocket engines and strap them on the back of the car. Problem solved. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
