My Shift Knob keeps coming off

Almost every time that I am trying to drive briskly and shift into second gear, the knob pops off, allow for an awesome grinding noise when I release the clutch and it isn't completely in gear. If you're having trouble getting yours off trying to put a UUC on, just shift it hard into second. Maybe a little ducktape would do the trick.

Re: My Shift Knob keeps coming off

There's a threaded hole on the top of the shift lever- pop off the aluminum shift pattern from the knob, and put a set screw into the lever. Problem solved.
