Here is the latest project out of the Specter Werkes/Sports garage. We just finished it on Saturday for a customer who wanted to add even more aggressiveness to an already mean looking V.

We are having a track day tomorrow so I will take some pic's of the V on some hot laps.

I really like the hood, does anyone know if it's a heat extractor hood or is the cowl all for show?
Looking to get rid of some of the heat under the hood. I'm thinking this is why the Delco batteries are failing prematurely. I've got a '07 and I think the battery isn't going to last much longer then 1 year from when I got the car.

For the Extractor Hood it is $1495 plus shipping. Forum members get 10% off. I will post up some pictures of the track day tomorrow. It was a great time, and the CTS V really showed its abilities.
The extractor hood is functional as well. The coolest thing about the hood is sitting at a stoplight and seeing the heat waves rise out of the vents.

Good info on the extractor hood, but I think CTSV_Rob was referring to the cowl hood pictured, to which the answer is "No, it is not functional"- just badass looking.
Rob- Spectre also offers a vented extractor hood that looks similar to the CTS-VR hood if you're looking to get rid of heat.
