Dealer says no 2006+ 1.5" half shaft exist...

I gave my local dealer part numbers 19148846 & 19148847 so that i could upgrade my half shafts from 1.25" to 1.5" diameter, and they said that (according to my VIN) my 2004 already has these part numbers, as there parts listing is showing it for 2004-2007 cts=v with 6-speed transmission. I can plainly see the smaller 1.25" stock 2004 shafts on my car. Did the 1.5" diameter shaft change part numbers?

Very simply........YOUR DEALER IS WRONG! ! ! !

Unless your vehicle has been repaired......you have the smaller half shafts.

Trust me.

It may be that the part numbers are the same, I believe that is the case

Great question... would like to know as well. My dealer claims they never replaced any cts-v half shafts, just the differentials.
