Hehehe I know......I have been nothing short of addicted to my car since I got it!!! I work out of the country and have just now got back to work in Wyoming so the V gets a short mod break! However........I am ordering parts for my return to Canada so I can continue it's transformation!!

Have you had any luck on wheels yet?? I still need stockers to powdercoat, or something.

Generally, a set of six (two extra just in case ) would cost ~$15 shipped, depending on what logo/design one goes with, using top quality, Oracal vinyl. The V falls into that price range. I'll start a new thread discussing what all my business offers. Thanks!

I love the way those calipers look. I have been wanting to do red for a long time but am too lazy and too afraid that they won't turn out well if I do them myself. What was your procedure for painting the calipers? Anything to watch out for?

Also, do you know if 8th Day can do that V symbol in full color, like on the emblem on the sides and back of the car?

One more question, what rotors are those? I have been looking for a decent (and cheap) option for the stock rotors that will have the same or better performance, and I love the look of the drilled and slotted.

Nice V!

If you are ever in Gillette, WY during some warmer weather, I would like to get together and talk V mods.

Re: Where to get "V" decals for calipers?

We can do full color vinyls, but not for calipers. The vinyl we use for those decals need to be cast in the color required so there is no ill effect from heat and road grime. Printed vinyl may scratch, fade, discolor, or peel in that environment.

I know I love the red caliper look, makes those BIG ol Brembos stand out like they should. I removed my pads (changed them anyways) and cleaned the caliper real good then sanded them really well for adhesion with 320grit paper and a 3M scotchbrite pad. I used a duplicolor ceramic paint I got at Canadian tire......I know Canadian tire doesn't help you much! But it is a brushable paint which is what I wanted cuz I wanted good build and not the thin coat I would have got from spraypaint.
I don't know if they could be made in color, ask gothicaleigh....good idea though, that would look good.
The rotors are from R-1 concepts(about $380 F&R)......I scuffed the edges and the hubs good and gave mine a good few coats of high heat flat black paint to hopefully keep them from rusting for awhile longer. I like them, love the look. Some guys don't think they will be as durable cuz of the drilled holes but I am not racetracking my car so not to worried about it.
I work in Douglas/Casper Wy on a semi-regular basis and will drive my car here when the weather permits so yeah a future meeting could be possible.

Re: Where to get "V" decals for calipers?

We use the same V-logo outline design that is found imprinted on the stock brembos. We offer them in black, white, brushed aluminum, metallic silver, or carbon fibre.

They're cut from a premium automotive grade vinyl that is resistant to most fuels, greases, salts, and other things that calipers come in contact with from day to day use and are heat resistant to over 230 degrees F (so they're safe for track use or even the engine compartment should you wish to stick a couple there).

They come sandwiched between a waxpaper backing and a clear plastic "application paper" on their face to help you align and install them.

If interested, Paypal $10 to 8thdaycreations@gmail.com . Include $4 extra if you would prefer them to be sent 2-3 day Priority Mail, otherwise we ship them ground in a standard envelope.

Remember to include which color/material you want them cut from in the PayPal notes.

Looks good and thanks for the thread bump.

Like KEV said above, we include a few extra V-logos in slightly different sizes so you guys can use the ones you think fit the best and then use the rest wherever.

Awesome!

I'll take an order (4 decals) of the brushed aluminum V decals, and an order (4 decals) of the metallic silver V decals. I'll Paypal the $24 (Priority Mail, assuming only $4 extra because all of the decals can still fit in one envelope) to your email address after work tonight. Keep up the good work.
