You guys need to move to Raleigh. Cops a little more relaxed than most places I've lived (but thats because Raleigh has pretty good living)

I have one of the wireless passport radar detectors.... used to use it religiously in Austin, TX. I only turn it on now for road trips....hell, forget that its on my visor half the time.

saw an unmarked black Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with chrome stock rims (yes, chrome) on 540 the other day. So pretty much...you have to look out for anything. So put down your beer, floor it, and try to loose em (famous last words)

Radar detectors are illegal here. Big fine and they smash them on the side of the road if you get caught with one

I haven't been convicted for speeding in about 10 years, but I get a few here and there ... a radar detector would be a nice addition to the V

Yep, it was red, and I saw another one in black that did not have the 'Steeda' markings. Have also seen the FHP use plain-jane white F-150s to pull over speeders. I understand why we have speed limits, but there should be stretches of road in every county where you can go WOT withing 'paying the man'. Just ranting...

When I drove to Fla a few weeks ago I got pulled over by a good ol' boy in GA less then 5 miles from the Fla border. One of my friends gave mea gold PBA card with my name engraved on it. I showed it to him, not thinking it would really work down there but it did. I was doing 92 in a 65 on I-95. That would of sucked. I haven't gotten a speeding ticket in 6 years. I lost my DL privileges for 10 months due to the last one. On ramps are now my best friend.

Two weeks ago I seen an old school Pontiac Grand Prix GTP as a cop car. He had this guy pulled over and I almost crap my pants cause I never would've thought of a COP patrolling in an unmarked old school GTP.

Sorry to hear about your ticket, but things could be worse for you....
Yea, I got caught doing 82/40 in VA right outside of springfield. It got dropped because the cop that clocked me didnt stop me and couldnt positively identify me or the car. She said it was going too fast, it was either a mercedes or a cadillac, it was a blur.

I didnt get thrown in jail, but thats a real posibility when you go 40 over. I had to sign a form in court saying that I know I can get a public defender because I risk jail time. I've never had to do that before, and I've gotten 3 RD's in VA. (got out of all of them though).

My car is stock. I would be in jail with a maggie for sure... then again I'd probably be on the news
***this just in, a Cadillac is travelling southbound on I-95 at >160mph... we'd go to the helicopter, but it cant keep up***

Don't ask how I know about VA and speeding. Just throw your radar/laser detector out the window whe you get pulled...lol

In Pa, they park broken down cars along the highway, with a patrol car nearby. Bingo, they got you.

My V1 is yelling at me and I spot the guy with the radar gun to late.

    63 in a 40.

I haven't even gotten on the frwy yet.

My first speeding ticket in about 20 years.

    RATS.

The cop did like the maggie though.

What did you do to my car Rick?

I was paranoid as hell driving down to San Diego, but I can definitly tell a differance in that it pulls so much better in 6th.

Problem is: it just isn't happy under 80!

My thoughts on a speeding ticket. I have never had one, and I am 63. If I get one tomorrow, I figure my time is up for a ticket. Sure, I dont't want to pay the $$, and I don't want the points, but we all have our day in the barrel. I admit that I have been extremely lucky.
