    It's interesting looking at the weight comparisons. Almost 1,000 lbs lighter on the R. Did they accomplish this reduction by swapping out the hood, doors, and trunk lid only? Thats a huge difference.

    by the way, this damn CTS-V is a productivity killer. I used to stay late at work all the time, now I leave right at 5 cause I cant wait to go for another ride

    the roof on the vr is metal the rest is carbon fiber per the rules, remove the interor and that is about 500 lbs by its self!

    The interior is completely gutted.
