Yah, well that's what happens when you hang out here for so long, right?

My kids love my new TB SS, and it's some of the cheapest fun I have had in a long time...you should see peoples' faces when a mommy-mobile Chevy takes them at a stoplight. I bought mine to trailer my V to events when needed--it tows like there's nothing behind it.

A3's are very nice. If you wouldn't be ashamed to drive around in a non-premium car, I agree with jim, get a Mazdaspeed 3. Great build quality. I'd go with the A3 personally, though.

The Mazda equation goes like this.

WW buys new RX8 when it is released. Car breaks down on day 7 of ownership. Car remains broken for 30 days. In the meantime, a loaner is given, that clearly has more HP and runs better.

WW asks for the loaner instead of the original car. Mazda says NFW. Mazda offers buyback for overstated HP claims. WW takes buyback, pisses off local Mazda dealer, and buys a V instead

The good ole days, as it were...though the MS 6 makes sense. I'm really liking the DSG thing though, but crap, I am so incredibly spoiled on power and handling, this is going to be brutally tough.

Better yet, a Saab 9-2X if you can find any left. My brother got one CHEAP when they weren't selling 2 years ago. Suddenly, the market wised up and swallowed the remaining allotment.

He payed $22.5G on a $29G car. Right now, after 2 years and 25k miles, it's worth $21G.

Hey. I already discussed this. I'd gladly drive an SRT-8 as a beater while my baby gets her beauty sleep.

    Dreamin -

Sort of. This time it is me, and not my wife (though she doesn't care for the car) that has grown weary of the V
