    RAP power

I did the rap power mod on 2005 V, got a new relay to plug into the empty space, and moved the fuses over, and it worked.

However, unlike the radio, which turns off when you open the door, the front and rear cig outlets stay powered for the full 10 minutes, even if you do open the door and then lock them.

Anyone know a way to change this so the outlets go out when you open the door?

Did you run any wires? Do you have the relay part number and where did you buy it?

I followed the procedure on the faq, move over the fuses, and add the relay. I got it from Pep Boys, R3109 $15.99.

nope...thats just how it works...mine does the same thing...if your looking for true 'switched/ignition' power you don't want rap power...look elsewhere you can pull it from the fuse box under the rear seat I think.
