1st week back on day shift from Nights.
4am when the alarm went off, I guess I pressed the off button instead of the snooze. After a couple of sweet dreams passed I woke up @ 5:30am (the time I'm spose to be at work, 30 mins. prior to the shift) hit the door by 5:37am, called boss told him I'm leaving the house but will be in the door at 6am!
Job 24 miles away.
Needless to say I was driving slightly over the speed limit.
Any how, on my last stip of road 30mph speed limit, I was pushing it hard when I seen a truck getting ready to turn onto the road I was on. I blinked my headlights to tell him NOT to make that turn. He turned anyway, blocked both lanes. So I went into oncoming traffic to get around him. As Soon as I do this, my Passport Escort 8500 Screams

. Either this was a false alarm or the cop just realized that I must have been trying to get to work, cause nobody came a chasin!
And I walked in the door at 6:00am on the dot. Funny thing was my people w/ the shoe on the other foot was now calling me the "Whistle Bitter."
Screw the Corsa, I'm moving on up to the Valentine 1, first priority.
Just thought to pass that on to you guys. The V did great, getting me to work on time. Handled like a charm. Crisp lane changes. Great Acceleration and braking. Man This Car is Hot!
How are you guys getting your G meter so hi? The highest I have is .74. I took this curb on the freeway well over 100 and the G meter was at like .38.
Just thought I ask.
