Could some one tell me how to remove subwoofer?

Before I run out of daylight, does anyone know the best way to remove the Factory Sub without damaging my shelf panel? I was hoping for some screws from the bottom but I think I have to pull it from the top.

You have to remove the sail panels to make it easier to remove the shelf cover to pull the woofer from the top.

Damn! So what's the easy way?? I was hoping for a 10 min job. That mesh cover doesn't snap off?

I'm trying to create a port for my JL W7 it sounds good with the seats up, It's out of this world when I let one seat down.

Re: Could some one tell me how to remove subwoofer?

Wait till you drop the mounting screw for the sail panel trying to reassemble it

OR

You break off the POS mounting tab on the sail panel.

Welcome to MOD HELL.

Re: Could some one tell me how to remove subwoofer?

OK, I'm going to start now.
1. Remove front Seats,
2. Drop Head liner
3. Remove Sails
4. Remove rear seat backs
5. Take shelf panel off
6. Hope the sub comes out easily and that I can get my car back in one piece successfully.

Alt. method
take a screw driver to the bottom of the sub until I have a big enough hole!
