I have seen and read several frustrations regarding service, and the infamous rear diff issues. I had my rear diff replaced shortly after I got it. It was leaking pretty good, and no haggles at the dealer I took it to. Not sure if the tech that replaced goofed up, but it was back again 30 days later.
The second trip in, my service advisor was out (actually in the hospital) and his back up took good care of me.
Today I received a call from my service advisor making sure everything was alright since he noticed I had been back for the same problem while he was out.
I have to say, customer service, and good cutomer service makes the difference when ISSUES arise.
I love my V, love turning heads with it, and feel even betterr having a good support story to share. BTW - I bought my V from another dealer out of state.
So, if in the Atlanta area, do not be concerned if your V goes to Classic Cadillac on Roswell Road. Bill Borowski took good care of me and my pride and joy. |

And it was a series of unfortunate service experiences. Hopefully things have changed. I need to take my V (STS-V that is ) in for a few TSBs and am a little gunshy about going back, but they are very close to my office. I had a good experience at Capital so, even though it is more of a hassle, I may go back there. |

With Hennessy, they fixed my leaking diff and replaced my sail panel with no questions asked. But I got my car back with a couple of extra noticeable scratches. Waiting to hear back from the Service Manager on that. May have to give Classic a shot next time around. |

I'm thinking maybe James from Lindsay might like it better in the South...the climate is much nicer...and he has so much opportunity to right the wrongs!! |

My dad had an 01 STS and he loved it and the dealer that he want to ALWAYS took care of him. I had the same experience today when I picked up my V from the dealer.
There was a SMALL scratch (i was being nit picky) on the lower left side of the bumper that was not there before, and before I even got two words out about it the service manager offered to buff out the entire bumper.
The V is definitely a head turner too, I am a student at Purdue University (skipping my homework to participate here)..and its nice to know that I have the ONLY car of its kind on a campus of 40,000 students!!!

One thing that just came to mind, with some of these poor service stories, have to wonder about root cause of problem. If an employee is not happy because of work enviroment, that can easily be seen, and heard in their performance.
Maybe some of these issues stem from management at said dealers. I have worked for a couple of CEO's that created a pervasive negative working culture. |

BTW - Went to Vegeance for the nickel tour last week. They were building a V for a guy in south GA. Heads, cam, headers and other goodies. I missed getting back for the fire up and dyno. They were expecting somewhere north of 500 H.P., and assumed an 18 - 20% loss through drivetrain for RWHP. Bummed I missed seeing it and catching the owner
Noticed you had a tune there. Was it noticeable? Look forward to hearing feedback. |

I picked Classic primarily for logistics (easy shot off 400). Maybe the Classic guys are working it out. Amazing the power of surveys and letters to the powers to be.
If things change in the future, you can be sure I will post and comment in the dealer review. |

what are you trying to say here? What you think your car is better then all the other V's? It must not be that special if your in the CTS-V fourm! CTS-V is more of a muscle car Get a stick and Cts-v's are quicker 4.6 to you 4.7 and what! j/k | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
