    Insurance costs:

When I added my V to my policy they give you a breakdown of each car on the policy.

How much are you guys paying? Keep in mind more driveing and more populated areas cost more. I live in the NY NJ area.

    These are for 6 months:

    2004 CTSV $539 @ 10,000 miles/year
    2003 MC Jeff Gordon edition. $333 @ 0,800 miles/year
    2000 Astro $447 @ 20,000 miles /year
    1994 S10 Pickup $267 @5,000 miles/year

Thats 35,800 miles per year and I'm the only driver. No wonder why my butt is tired

Anybody else brave enough to post their insurance premiums?

    Re: Insurance costs:

I just insured mine here in lovely CA.

100/300 coverage, 20k miles/year, primary car (now) but 3rd car on policy.

    $1k ded for collision & comprehensive = $700/6mo
    $500 ded for " & " = $800/6mo
    $100 ded for " & " = $1,050/6mo

This will be reduced further a few % when I send in my Onstar Certificate which will show them that the car has a facotry installed tracking device (in case it is stolen).

Full coverage $800 per year - $250 deductible Progressive. Same as my 2000 LHS. And yes they understood what the V was. Virginia is always low if you can keep from getting tickets. I've fought EVERY ticket I've ever received in VA and beat or reduced them all. Worst ever was 88mph in a 55mph zone, reduced to simple failure to observe highway sign. No mention of speeding on my record.

I'm like $1200 for 6 months. New Haven county Ct is one of the most expensive areas in the country to insure. If I moved one town over it would be $800 every 6 months. No accidents, no tickets with Geico.
