Tuning question

If i get the complete corsa/kooks exhaust system, catted, how badly will i need a tune?


i don't put much more than 100 miles / week on my car so its not going to keep me from work or anything

Nothing's going to blow up on you or anything--you may throw a few codes here and there; but if you're going to spend that much for the exhaust, then why not take advantage of it with a tune?

I drove mine with no tune for it for about a month and not a code was thrown! Yes, w/ no cats but I did have Ricks tune in the car but not for headers and no cats! Maybe that was it!

One more thing! Kooks had no idea of the tune and when I asked him if I will throw any codes he said absolutely not! He told me something about the way they hooked up the sensors or something like that! I should have paid more attention! Somehow the computer believes there is still cats in the car!?
