Some GM vehicles store it ONLY on the PCM, some store in it both areas. For instance, GM trucks store it in the PCM and in the IP cluster, and if you pull the fise to the IP cluster, it will stop recording miles - to the point that the ODO on the PCM reads different from the ODO on the IP Cluster.

But since every GM vehicle is different, GM makes ALL IP Clusters non-servicable...

According to this motor trend article the grill is stainless steel. See the third paragraph.

    Re: CTS-V body part numbers

Hi there, I'm new to the site. I just purchased a 2006 Cadillac CTS. I wanted to do the. W V front end conversion what do I need to make it look it a V? I have the front bumper, is that all I need other than the two grills? Will the standard fog lamps fit? any other mods required?

I was also looking for a CTS-V speedometer, and some CTS-V emblems. I checked ebay, they are like $50 each, any better prices out there?

My advice would be to quckly move over to the CTS forum:

    http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...lac-cts-forum/

Looking for assistance in converting your base CTS into a wannabe CTS-V
is generally not a well received topic on this forum.

Don't listen to him- making a V6 look like a V is a great idea! I've got some hot sources for Lambo doors once you get your V conversion done. Then you'll be totally sweet.

The upper CTS-V grille fits the standard CTS perfectly. Put one on the wife's standard CTS last summer..piece of cake. Lots of decent deals on ebay
