I see nothing wrong with changing the appearance to look more V like. Putting V stickers on the car definately is crossing the line into rice.

Maybe im just tired of seeing so many cars around here with different faces than what they had stock.

I do admit that the V's face is pretty sharp... and lots of people DO want it for their non-v cts's who cant afford one.

    Sorry i disputed it.

That's what it's all about. My CTS may end up having the V front end, but it will be quite unique overall when I'm done with it...:coolgleam

If the government had their way we would all be driveing identical Cimmerons if we wanted luxury and gas mpg. 4 cylinder for the regular croud and V6 for the high perf croud.

    MISCREANT

Can you get the part number of the V instrument Cluster. I have had my Analog Clock "fixed" and replaced 4 times. I am ready for the upgrade.
    Thanks
    Tony A
PS this attachment shows the grille on my silver CA package stick.

Unfortunately, the instrument cluster is a "non serviceable" item, you cannot order it through the parts department. Your cluster must malfunction, and the Service Department then calls and gets a replacement sent and the core is then sent back - this is done for Odometer Fraud reasons....Best thing to do is try to watch for one from a totalled V...

Hmm, I thought the odometer reading was embedded in the PCM since OBDII in '96... Maybe the Cad's are different?
