Randy | I tend to agree. Maybe a chrome lip would offset the black better? Either way, sweet car! |

Maybe gloss black would go better. But, you like it and that's all that counts. |

No missing the rotor's now!

Part of understanding color appreciation is how colors blend and contrast with each other. When you take a spray gun and shoot the entire car in black, that's color unappreciation. The OEM distinction of subtle use of colors mixed with stainless and aluminum give it distinctive class. Neutralizing those make it bland.

Black is my favorite color and it just doesn't do it for others ...
The grills are next though ... just trying to figure out what to do about the chromed piece around the grill ... I'm not sure you can powdercoat over that ... can you? |

I actually do like it - as well as Chef's car. All that matters is that YOU like it, though!
Put up some more pics when you do the grille.

Randy | Personally, I don't like the all black look at all. But, I will say that GM didn't get it quite right on the grilles. With the chrome surrounds and silver mesh on the front, with no other chrome accents on the V, it looks like Nelly wearing all diamond grilles. Too bright and ostentatious.
Instead, stock or aftermarket polished/silver wheels with blacked out mesh(still chrome surround) on a black V is purrrrrfect. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
