2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V Appearance Mods Discussion, What size tires do you think on these 20's in Cadillac CTS-V Series Forum - 2004 - 2007; http://www.aewheel.com/boss/wheels_detail.cfm?id=303
I will be installing the Eibach lowering kit also to drop it and the Hotchkis swaybar
I've been ...
Yep, 245/35/20 all around... that tire is same as stock width (245), that rim width is same as stock rim width (8.5")... and overall diameter is same as stock (26.7-26.8")... And the +40mm offset rims are within 2mm of the stock wheel...
These tires and wheels will work perfectly... no worries
Only thing you need to figure out is if the V's tire pressure sensors will fit in those wheels... the BFG KDW's you have listed above only come in a runflat in that size...
But if you dont want runflats you have lots of tires options...You can get Pirelli P-Zero Asimmetrico (about as sticky as the KDW, but cheaper)... for the ultimate in stick go Pirelli PZero Nero or Michelin Pilot Sport PS2.
Oh, and make sure you get hub-centric rings for the V.
I'm a little curious though what size I can fit while going over the stock width and under the stock profile. I'm want to maintain a wide-low profile but don't want to suffer too much performance. I'm kinda wanting to get away from the stock sizes to have a custom look, but again, not sacrifice too much performance or have the tire rubbing all crazy.
It seems that most people here have different tire sizes on front and rear. Any other thoughts?
