Not bad, what do the wheels cost? Can anyone photoshop them onto the V?

Re: What size tires do you think on these 20's

245/35/20 is the perfect front size, and will work on 20 x 8.5" rims.

285/30/20 will work only on a 20 x 9.5 or 20 x 10. If you are running 9.5 or 10" rims... the 285/30s *should* fit on the back... depending on the offset of the wheels.

If you are going to run 20 x 8.5 on the rear... stick to 245/35/20... no issues with that size. Do not put 285/30's on a 8.5" rim...

I'm not concerned with weight of wheels so much, the supercharger will take care of that. It's hard to find wheels for this car, let alone ones I like this much.

so Dreamin' your saying 245/35/20 all around? How does averyone else feel about this size? Especially those with these size rims.

Re: What size tires do you think on these 20's

Yep, 245/35/20 all around... that tire is same as stock width (245), that rim width is same as stock rim width (8.5")... and overall diameter is same as stock (26.7-26.8")... And the +40mm offset rims are within 2mm of the stock wheel...

These tires and wheels will work perfectly... no worries

Only thing you need to figure out is if the V's tire pressure sensors will fit in those wheels... the BFG KDW's you have listed above only come in a runflat in that size...
But if you dont want runflats you have lots of tires options...You can get Pirelli P-Zero Asimmetrico (about as sticky as the KDW, but cheaper)... for the ultimate in stick go Pirelli PZero Nero or Michelin Pilot Sport PS2.

Oh, and make sure you get hub-centric rings for the V.

    BTW... nice photoshop.

Re: What size tires do you think on these 20's

I'm a little curious though what size I can fit while going over the stock width and under the stock profile. I'm want to maintain a wide-low profile but don't want to suffer too much performance. I'm kinda wanting to get away from the stock sizes to have a custom look, but again, not sacrifice too much performance or have the tire rubbing all crazy.

It seems that most people here have different tire sizes on front and rear. Any other thoughts?

Re: What size tires do you think on these 20's

Even with stock width tires... your car will NOT look stock... you'll have huge 20s and very low-profile tires... it'll look pretty "custom".

You could run 255/30/20 on those rims... they'll fit but it's a REALLY low-profile tire...

If you want wider in the rear, you have to find wheels that comes in 9.5" or 10"... then you can run your 285/30s in the rear.

And this setup is more for LOOKS... you're going to hurt performance... wheels are very heavy, which hurts handling (Maggie cant fix that)... jury is out on if Eibach's help or hurt handling...

What about CCW wheels? Very light wheels... will improve handling. You could get 19x8.5 F and 19x10 R and run your 245 F and 275 or 295 R

Thanks, I will go with the 245/35/20's all around but it looks like I'm gonna go with the Nitto 555. I found it all for 1789.00 shipped. Where can I get Hub Centric Rings for the V?

The rings will come from the place you buy the wheels from... they are made for the specific wheel by the wheel mfg.

Just ask the wheel place, "These wheels are hubcentric for the CTS-V right?"
