Just wondering if anyones replaced their fog lights with HID bulbs... and how it looks. If you have any pics, post them. What kind of bulb are the fog lights?

So the 9145's are a direct replacement for the stock fog light bulbs? Now if they made clear's for the daytime running lights...

    Re: Anyone have HID fogs?

I was a little confused with 9145, I never heard of it before.. But I found this. (makes more sense to me now).

    HEADLIGHT BULB CROSS REFERENCE
    A H4 bulb is also referenced to as a HB2 or 9003.
A 9004 bulb is also referenced to as a HB1.
    A 9005 bulb is also referenced to as a HB3 or 9145.
A 9006 bulb is also referenced to as a HB4.
A 9007 bulb is also referenced to as a HB5.

    Re: Anyone have HID fogs?

RobertCTS is putting OEM hi's in his fogs. If this is the case, we could just run a good aftermarket hid kit in our fogs right?

The only worry I had with running hi-beams in the fogs would be the greater current they draw, how the stock harness would hold up.
But HID's would draw only 35 watts!

    This should work right?

How hard is it to replace the fog lights and which 9145/9005 bulb do you suggest? I always wanted the brighter lights.

My wife told me I was nuts and that while I was out taking pictures she was going to get on here and pretend to be me and say stupid shit. I hope you appreciate this and the risks I took doing it.

Thanks slow.. I love how beautiful the car really is.. Those lights looks pretty good. Were they difficult to replace?

Dont those lights burn hotter than the stock lights? Im worried about melting the housing.. Thats why I was looking at an HID alternative for brighter lighting...
