    Fixing Curb Rash....Help

My '05 V has the stock silver colored (painted) wheels and they have a little bit of curb rash that I'd like to fix. Anyone know the exact color paint that I need to buy and any pointers for repairing them? I've got the rims with no tires on them so I have a clear shot at the whole wheel with no tire interference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure there's a thread around here somewhere, but I remember seeing this on the FAQ:

I'm really interested in doing this myself because my wheels are abysmal. The previous owners of my 2004 either singlehandedly or a combination of all of them curbed the hell out of all 4. Don't know if this is the best method or not though since I have no experience in many vehicle repairs.
