right, but I'm thinking it would be better to have one that replaces the under engine tray.. it has mounting holes and some features on more than one plane. it would require a mold with provisions to replace the driveway scraper

I see it as a project for someone who owns a V and knows how to work with carbon fiber or ABS plastic.

those products mount to the bottom of the bumper and it would be less secure than one that secures to the crossmember

I would go with a custom splitter. If I do aero stuff later I will most likely just get a custom front splitter made up. Here is a quick photoshop I did of my car with what I would want done.

Absolutely, I want to be able to do 360s without spinning the tires!

haha, seriously though it was just a quick photoshop, I wanted to see what my car would look like lowered on some wheels with a front lip. I couldn't be bothered to try and fix the rear wheel angle.

That's not bad at all, I actually really dig that. Was it difficult to install?

    Re: Add on lip?

Not too bad, got rid of the rubber wicker and removed the mounts so it lays flat against the underside of the bumper cover. Most of the fab was reinforcing where the support rods connect since it regularly sees 140+ and I wanted to make sure it would hold up. We actually removed the front cover to mount it all up. But according to the directions its not necessary but I wanted overkill for the track...
