Question Aftermarket Radio and retaining MPH to KPH switch

I found a few decent kits that offer warnin chimes and onstar, though onstar is useless to me, but i would like to retain the KPH and MPH switch.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Will be using the Scosche kit with the double PIN adapter. The OEM GPS is useless for me in my location, and the MPG and other little details can be mimics with the OT-2 via Ipod, so i am not too worried about that either...

How do we retain the MPH and KPH switch???
