    Anyone eliminate the rubber thing under the front bumper?

    My rubber piece has started to fall off and was curious if i can just get rid of it or if there is a good reason its there. Thanks

    Number1GMParts or GMPartsDirect or any of the other websites offer a catalog feature that let you look up the parts you need. Faster and cheaper than a dealership. In this case, you're looking at #15, the CTS-V air deflector. GM Part Number 25716142. $96 at Number1GMParts plus shipping.



    You can also find commonly needed replacement parts numbers listed on the FAQ.

    I have been looking for a lip of sorts to replace that can't seem to find one though and 90 bucks for that rubber piece is brutal

    I agree for $90 i can live without the aerodynamics. Unless i can find a used one for cheaper haha

    Ill drive for a few months and see if my fuel mileage drops that much. But i dont see that rubber piece making that much of a difference

    Great to know on the parts look up fuzzy.

    I'm thinking mine is missing? Does it give it a double duckbill look? Hard to tell on the schematic.

    I can't tell based on your camera angle. See the black rubber piece under the nose of my CTS-V? It's most clearly visible below the passenger side foglamp in this picture:



    Older picture of my V, but with the air deflector less in the shadows.

    That thing looks really clean, like both shots of the different look of silver/black rims and grill!. Ooh yeah and I don't think I have the air damn du dad, I'm ok with that...thanks for the shots...that IS the fastest color.

    Has your gas mileage dropped significantly since you dont have the aerodynamic rubber piece installed?

    It's alot easier just to by the push pins from Lowe's or Home Depot they have them there.
