My V with The Extreme Composites Hood and Other Bodywork

I picked up a vented EC hood for my Caddy and had my bumpers and some damage to the drivers side rear molding done. All in all I think they did a great job! They charged me $1800 for hood install, finish and paint, front bumper repair and paint, rear bumper refinish and paint, and side molding replace, paint, and install. (not the greatest pics but you get the idea)

And for the under hood heat and noise suppression...It dropped about 6 decibels after adding the Dynamat Extreme and Dynamat Hoodliner.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I was going to do that, plus attempt to find a shop to do a custom liner cover. Another thing is that the Lingenfelter airbox (any open top airbox, for that matter) requires the liner to provide a good seal. I bet your IATs are terrible right now.

I doubt it is any worse than with the stock hood. The Dynamat is directly over the air box when the hood is closed.

Do you have a 1/2" indentation in your liner? I do. That's a solid seal, right there.
