Nice setup. When I originally put my IDQ sub in I had it firing in that same direction in the same position in a sealed box and had pretty mediocre bass response in the driver's seat. Put the box upright and sub facing rear towards trunk lid and it sounds much better. At first I had removed the bose sub, but putting it back in helped bass response as well, was getting some cancellation with the opening above the sub as well. Also, it annoyed me to lose all bass when I shut the engine off and lost the signal to my sub amp.
I always try something new in each of my cars but every time the sub facing rearwards always sounds so much better than other positions in a sedan.
