    Home Made Custom Strut Bar

    I fabbed up a new custom strut bar and had it powder coated gloss black, thought I would share the end result.

    I put a blue led strip in it hooked up to a hood pin switch, I know its rice so feel free to blast your comments, I could care less. The strut bar itself turned out great, tried to replicate the lines of the car.

    I think it look awesome! I would have done red leds in mine but i got the red FRC's. Good work

    I agree on the lights, after looking at them a few times I'm not so fond of them. I'm going to try a red led see if that's any better and if not just pull them out. I post a pic of the bar without the lights on.

    I wonder if white lights glowing down over the engine only would look any better?

    I was thinking the same thing having the leds only shine down on the fcr's might loom better! Post a pic of no leds

    I have the 8078 battery, almost a direct fit just had to modify the holder a little bit:
