Thanks guys. I've looked on eBay and see what they go for and also read somewhere that there was also a
Mod but couldn't find where I saw how to do that again. If you or anyone happens to come across the
instructions for the mod please share the info. Thanks.

I did the mod initially...didn't look that bad..but the fogs turn into pencil beams at night with no diffusers in the lens. Then the lens' cracked, looks alot better now with the lights from ebay.

Rayrod, let me know if you want detailed instructions for the mod, I just did it a few weeks ago. I also recommend upgrading the fog lights to HIDs... Ddm has the slim kits for $45. I'll post some before and after pics tmrw.

I swaped out the low beam HID 4300k for 35w 8000k(Ebay), HID slim kit (DDM) for the fogs 35w 8000k, and the corner light 9 led 194 (vled). Did the drl delete as well, just need to get some led turn signals

^^ You can see the pencil beams in the last photo...save yourself the flashed high-beams from other drivers and just get the ones on ebay.

Instead of being spread out, the light from the fogs gets very narrow and pointy (pencil beam) no matter how much you adjust them they always blind other drivers.

A search for "clear fogs" in this forum will turn up multiple threads about the DIY clear fogs. You can also try searching for "lexan", since that's what most people use to do it.

And like nikon, I had the DIY clear fogs, then chose to ditch them for the Ebay clear fogs after a short while for the same reason he mentioned. The DIY clear fogs essentially became poorly aimed pencil beam driving lights, which made them almost worthless.

I guess what you guys are saying is don't do the mod? Lol. Thanks. I'm sure they look great and less
expensive but dont know about the mod. Lol. Next question? Are you guys using HID's for fogs or regular
    xenon bulbs.

I'm using HID's...they've really came down in price from a few years ago. I think a set can be had for under $50, it's $10 for a decent set of halogen lights.

Heres a pic of another guys hid setup w the mod
    lights on.jpg

As nikon said they are very bright... mine seemed to be more angled down than this guys pic, i didnt adjust anything. I havent had anyone flash me on the road either. But I def could see where nikon is coming from.

All in all I just like the look of the lexan vs the $279 ones on ebay (reminds me of 3rd and 4th gen camaro fogs)
