The fogs look great........by themselves. What kills them are the gay-ass orange DRLs. I can't stand those things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe someone can find a way to add a hidden switch to this relay to turn them off and on (hint hint StealthV).

I hate the fact that I have to turn them on each time I start the car. Did anyone figure out how to bypass that?

Bypass what? You mean you want your fogs to come on automatically everytime you start the car.............am I reading this correctly? Do you really want that to happen?

Exactly. Yes I would rather it be like that like on most cars. I've never seen a car that had a fog light switch like this. Usually it's not spring loaded on the directional tree. Most cars have an on and off switch; if you leave the switch on they will always come on when you start the car.

Actually if you roll the light switch forward one click and put your driving lights on you have running lights with no 'yellow' fog lights. This is the way I drive around during the day.

Well after my wife got a ticket for driving with the foglights on when it wasnt an "Atmospheric Condition" necessatiting them, I wont be running around with them on unless its raining, or foggy.

I don't understand that. You have to turn them on each time you start the car. When you shut the car off and turn it back on, they will be off again.

    Re: Foglights on or off?

I run them on my 99STS 24/7 for the same reason it is illegal to run a motorcycle without lights on. In DC, people drive like crap, are usualy on their cell phones, and generally paying attention to everything but the road. Anything to make you more visible is a safety benefit. I used to run rice rockets with 100W high beams during the day, logged @40K with no one pulling out in front of me...

I think SAAB came out with the lights always on concept years ago.

I appreciate it may look poor, and you will go through lights faster, but in my area, bodywork is much more expensive!

    Re: Foglights on or off?

I like to have them on all the time at night. I hate having to manually turn them on every time the headlights come on. The switch should be set up so if it is in the "on" position, they come on when you (or the auto sensor) turn on the headlights (or select “fog lights only”) and if it is in the "off" position, then they stay off. I don’t like the current setup.
