    PlastiDipped some stuff... pics included

So, everyone has been raving about plastidip. I figured what the heck why not give it a shot. I was pulling off my front bumper to replace a HID ballast and decided to plastidip some stuff.

Let me just say this stuff may be the easiest thing I have ever sprayed. It went on easy and smooth with no issues at all. The only issue I have with it is that it does not work well on lights. There are heavy and light spots on glass when light shines through it. However without the light behind it it looks 100% uniform and smooth.

    On to the pic.

Looks good. why not just use tint on the fogs? much easier and it will look uniform when lit.

I just wanted to see how it would look... I will be peeling off the plastidip on the fogs and the sidemarkers to tint them. The great thing abut plastidip is it peels right off

Nikon yea its pretty simple. Clean it up with some good cleaner degreaser... then spray away. It is really that simple! Comes in a couple colors I believe and comes in an 11oz aerosol can

You are reading this and saying "everyone who thinks its simple probably paints"... I suck at painting and yes, it is that simple.

It really is that easy! Took everything apart, cleaned it up, took my time masking off and did 3 light coats and then touched up a few
areas. Used about a can and 2/3 of another. I did soak the cans of plastic dip in HOT water for about 15 min before use (kept them in
the warm house before use) and also hit the parts up with a heat gun because it was 45 deg in the garage. It really turned out great and
I have NO painting skills at all.

The plastic grilles on my V2 have been Plasti-Dip'd. Looks good after a couple thousand miles...
