Yeah, I saw the resemblance, too.

Took a short ride last night. Maybe I'm overly anticipating, but the tires felt outstanding. Need more seat time.

I'd suspect that Linea Corse would like to sell a few more sets of this style before they tool up to make another one, but I may be wrong.

    Re: Linea Corse Wheels Arrived

I hate to be critical here.... Cause I could never afford these beautiful wheels....

But dont they look a bit small on the car? The stock wheel and tire combo filled out the wheel well nice. Now there is a bit of a gap. I think this is very opinion based, but the thicker spokes on the stock wheels just seem to match up with the car better.

Of corse this is why I own my own car, and can do anything I want to it.....

    Plan to lower it anymore?

I thought I noticed that gap, too. The tires are suppose to have nearly the same diameter as stock size, so not sure whether that "gap" is just an illusion or what.

FWIW, it really does look good in person.

I have to say I love my Platinum, but this "stealth" really grows on you, and the shade of rim is a perfect combo. Well done!

I'm not a fan of silver, but every time I see a Platinum V I think how good it looks. My theory is that it's the classic lines of a V1 and being clean makes a huge impact.

I got a couple more pics. I'll post 'em up later tonight.

Yeah, what little I've driven on the tires, they are absolutely great. Problem is, I've either got take out on the seat next to me or a couple of 8-1/2 year olds in the back seat, so haven't had a chance yet to give them a little more workout. Gonna rain tomorrow into Tuesday, so next chance is Wednesday. I'll post up some more on them.

EDIT: Here's just a couple of more pics.

And, as domestically-biased as I am, you're right about being BMW-ish not always being "a bad thing."

Looks damn good! I prefer the Venetos, though, just because I don't have to clean so many spokes!
