Plate Ideas-NOT the actual state plates

Well, my state only requires a back plate, and to some, this would be a blessing. However, I don't want to mess with removing the front holder, as it seems like a doozy. I only got one plate when I registered the car (a custom one), and would like something unique for the front. Anyone have any good sites for CTS-V plates? I figured I should keep it classy, and not something like Skulls, etc, although I like them. I found some with the word Cadillac and CTS, but can't find anything that deals with the V specifically. Any other ideas? I am from Kansas fwiw. Thanks.

Just unscrew the front holder, drill out the screw holes to 5/16" or 3/8" diameter and use plastic plugs to fill the holes. Front plate on a V is gag inducing..

Just paint the plugs to match your factory paint. They'll blend in really well and especially well if your car is black, you wont even be able to see that they're there from more than 5 feet away.

Click for full size pic. See if you can spot the plugs here.

Yeah.. they are visible, but only up close and you have to really look if you're more than a few feet away.

Re: Plate Ideas-NOT the actual state plates

There are a number of states where owners aren't given an option, and the dealers go ahead and installs the front plate for them. Stupid really. AFAIK Jersey is a "front plate required" state.. My car came from one, and had holes from where the bracket had been installed. Fortunately the holes and plugs hide very well on a black car.
